Types of Pilates:
reformer pilates
Reformer Pilates combines the traditional principals and movements of mat Pilates with a Reformer machine. It typically is more intense and dynamic than mat Pilates due to the resistance the Reformer machine adds. Reformer Pilates gives a full-body workout, which improves power, strength, flexibility and efficiency
mat pilates
Mat Pilates uses your body as resistance versus a Reformer machine. Mat Pilates focuses on strengthening and lengthening your core muscles while also training your arms and legs. The classes help to build a strong, balanced and flexible body.
Pilates can help improve flexibility, entire body strength, posture, balance, coordination, injuries, and mental health.
“I have been going here for many years. I just love it here! Kelly, the owner is very organized, sweet and fun to be around. I adore Katherine, one of my Pilates instructors. I love her classes, they can be very challenging at times, but always fun. All the girls that go there are friendly and always have fun stories to share.” -Susan
